ACCOMMODATION

We have partnered with the Stanley Outdoor Training Centre, Nina Hotel SouthsideSouth Nest and Urbanwood Hotels to assist with preferred rates and accommodation offers for Hong Kong Race Week / 2025 29er Asian Championship.

CHARTER BOATS
The Hong Kong Race Week organising committee are committed to organising a great range of quality charter boats for our visiting international sailors.
 

We  have a limited number of charter boats that will be available for this event and are supplied fully class compliant so you can just fly in and enjoy the racing.  REGISTER HERE​​​​​

SUPPORT BOAT

Sailors are recommended to have a suitable support vessel to assist with their safety while on the water. Sailors attending independently or in a small team without a Coach, can register for a support person vessel.

This will include towing to and from the course and the carrying of incidental items required while out of the water.  Daily rates apply.

RHKYC Middle Island Water Sports Training Centre

Sailing will take place from the RHKYC’s Middle Island facility, which is based on the south side of Hong Kong island. Hong Kong has an excellent public transport service which means that Middle Island can be reached easily by taxi or bus from anywhere on Hong Kong island.

 

There will be ferries going between middle island and Hong Kong Island. To access these ferries, walk down to the Seaview Promenade opposite Middle Island.

TRANSPORT: AIRPORT TO THE CITY

Airport to the City

The easiest way to get from the airport is to take the train. Buy a Airport Express ticket at the airport – credit cards accepted.  The Airport Express runs every 10 minutes and the journey is approximately 24 minutes long bringing visitors into the Hong Kong Express station in Central. From here, you can take a taxi to your final destination hotel or get the MTR ( local train) from Central station.

 

A taxi from the airport to Hong Kong Island will cost  approximately HK $360-$380. There are tunnel fees included in this cost.

 

Check with your hotel for alternate direct service transport.
